Everybody's Free (To Wear Sunscreen)
It was a few months ago, when I came across this video at Metacafe.
This is a video, that I would recommend everybody to see.
I love it so much, that I have bookmarked it.
The message in this video, is so simple, yet so profound (to the point that it has already made it's impact in certain areas of my life), that it makes compelling viewing.
Considering how much I loved it, for it's message and it's simplicity, I dug around to find the origins of it.
It turns out, it was a column written by Mary Schmich for Chicago Tribune.
If I'm not wrong, it was Baz Luhrmann, who used this 'speech' and converted it into the song (word for word) and this amazing video.
I watch this video every once in a while, to put things in perspective in my life. It is yet to fail me.
Watch it. Enjoy it. Reflect on it.
And live your life, the way it should be lived.
