Hidalgo
A good movie to watch. Been a long time since i saw a realistic adventure flick (i know, i know, but LOTR was a fantasy adventure). So ever since the previews came out, Hidalgo was on my Must Watch List.
And to make up for the Secret Window debacle, decided to watch Hidalgo right the day after.
And boy, was it worth it !!!.
The movie is not in the mould of Indiana Jones (in case u get your expectations up, especially after seeing the horses, I surely did!). But its got its own charm, in the fact that its based on a true story.
Good movie to watch, especially for horse lovers, you get to see some stunning stallions in the movie.
Good performance by Viggo Mortenson, and the chick who plays Lady Davenport, whatever her name is. Ah, those eyes....
Good music by James Newton Howard, and the ending, brings u to the edge of one's seat, and is also a very touching one.
Watching the Arabs speak Arabic, makes me regret why i didnt learn Arabic, when i had a chance to.
Its such a beautiful sounding language.
Verdict: Definitely worth a watch in the theatres.
